About Our Outlook Training

Our Microsoft Outlook training is for anyone looking to develop their skills in email and calendar management.  We can deliver small-group training at your workplace to train staff inhouse or provide one on one Outlook training to cover specific skills that you need in your job role. Whether you’re looking to brush up on your Outlook skills or need to get familiarised with Outlook fast, our Sydney Outlook training is for you.

Using your current version of Microsoft Office (2013, 2016, 2019 or Office 365), our Outlook training covers everything you need to know to make the most of Outlook’s powerful features. Starting with the basics, we teach you how to navigate the Outlook system, send and receive email messages, use email tools such as Rules, Conditional Formatting, Categories, use the range of Calendar functions such as creating appointments and meetings, saving Contacts, creating Tasks and using the To Do List.

We also cover advanced features, such as how to create email templates, use Quick Parts, use advanced search techniques, using the Scheduling Assistant and more.

We offer two Microsoft Outlook courses which cover everything you need to know as a beginner to advanced Outlook user. Start with our Outlook Introduction course to get a feel for the basics or select our Outlook Advanced training if you’re looking to expand your existing skills.

If you’re unsure about which Microsoft Outlook training course would best suit your needs, it’s a good idea to complete our free pre-course skills analysis, which is a simple online survey to gauge your existing skill level. Based on the results, we can recommend the right Outlook training course to meet the needs of you and your staff. If you’re still not sure, give us a call to discuss your requirements.

Our Microsoft Outlook training is delivered face-to-face in Sydney, usually at your workplace (but we can organise an offsite venue if preferred). Face-to-face training provides the opportunity to share Outlook tips and tricks that are not easily shared online. Our hands-on training gives you the chance to use your own computer to practice your skills and reinforce learning. We believe that if you don’t play around with Outlook yourself, you won’t get the most from your learning.

While we prefer the hands-on approach of face-to-face training, we also deliver live Microsoft Outlook training via Microsoft Teams or Zoom. During online Microsoft Outlook training sessions, our trainer tailors the content to suit your needs, sharing their screen and answering questions in real time to reinforce learning. Following the online Outlook course you have access to free ongoing email support to answer your questions and further develop your new skills.

Our Sydney Outlook training courses are full-day sessions, covering everything you need to know at an introductory and intermediate level. Our trainer comes to you, so you can select a day that best suits your business and minimise unnecessary travel for your staff. Generally, classes start at 9:00 am and finish around 4:00 pm, but we can customise these times to suit your needs, offering half-day or shorter sessions if required.

During our Microsoft Outlook training, you’ll have the option to purchase a detailed training manual to support your learning (note, manuals are not included in our training fees). Following the completion of the Microsoft Outlook training course, you will also be provided with on-going support via email. We don’t place any time limits on this support, so you can access this service as needed, as long as your support queries remain related to the content covered in the training session.

Our Sydney Outlook training courses are delivered by qualified trainers who hold a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110) and have experience across the suite of Microsoft Office products. This means you’ll gain both the theoretical and practical knowledge you need to master Outlook. In most cases, your trainer will be Belinda Anderson, an industry expert and passionate trainer, with a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and over 19 years’ experience in the training industry.
