Microsoft Word is a word processing program which allows users to easily create documents, flyers, brochures and many other types of documentation.
Our Microsoft Word Training courses comprise of a 3-level study program: introduction, intermediate and advanced. Each study level is generally conducted over 1 day, however, can be customised to suit the needs of the participants.
Training is available for Word versions 2000-2016.
Our courses include skills analysis for each participant along with unlimited ongoing post course support via email.
Microsoft Word Introduction
This course aims to give participants an introduction to the use of Microsoft Word to create everyday documents required either at work or at home. Participants will create documents using various features including text, tabs, tables and pictures and will look at creating multiple documents through merging and printing documents.
Microsoft Word Intermediate
This course aims to enhance existing skills by covering more specific documentation creation aspects such as working with multiple documents, formatting tables, tabs, lists, merging, section breaks, templates and more. Participants will explore the use of Styles, work with Themes, use Templates, efficiently use page and section breaks, use merging techniques and enhancement of pictures.
Microsoft Word Advanced
This course aims to extend participants understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Word beyond basic document creation. Participants will explore features including SmartArt, using Table of Contents or Indexes, work with Master Documents, create and use Building Blocks, work collaboratively with a team, protect documents, use electronic forms and work with macros.
