Our Microsoft PowerPoint training is for anyone looking to develop their skills in the creation of PowerPoint presentations. We can deliver small-group training at your workplace to train staff inhouse or provide one on one PowerPoint training to cover specific skills that you need in your role. Whether you’re returning to PowerPoint after some time in another position or needing to get familiarised with PowerPoint fast, our Sydney PowerPoint training is for you.
Using your current version of Microsoft Office (2013, 2016, 2019 or Office 365), our PowerPoint training covers everything you need to know to make the most of PowerPoint’s powerful features. Starting with the basics, we teach you how to navigate the presentation screen, add slides, change slide layouts, add various element types including text and images, apply slide transitions or animations, rehearse your presentation timings, and how to automate your slide show. We also cover advanced features, such as using themes, slide masters, creating templates, media and action buttons and how to share your presentation.
We offer two Microsoft PowerPoint courses which cover everything you need to know as a beginner and intermediate PowerPoint user. Start with our PowerPoint Introduction course to get a feel for the basics or select our PowerPoint Intermediate training if you’re looking to expand your existing skills.
If you’re unsure about which Microsoft PowerPoint training course would best suit your needs, it’s a good idea to complete our free pre-course skills analysis, which is a simple online survey to gauge your existing skill level. Based on the results, we can recommend the right PowerPoint training course to meet the needs of you and your staff. If you’re still not sure, give us a call to discuss your requirements.
Our Microsoft PowerPoint training is delivered face-to-face in Sydney, usually at your workplace (but we can organise an offsite venue if preferred). Face-to-face training provides the opportunity to share PowerPoint tips and tricks that are not easily shared online. Our hands-on training gives you the chance to use your own computer to practice your skills and reinforce learning. We believe that if you don’t play around with PowerPoint yourself, you won’t get the most from your learning.
While we prefer the hands-on approach of face-to-face training, we also deliver live Microsoft PowerPoint training via Microsoft Teams or Zoom. During online Microsoft PowerPoint training sessions, our trainer tailors the content to suit your needs, sharing their screen and answering questions in real-time to reinforce learning. Following the online PowerPoint course you have access to free ongoing email support to answer your questions and further develop your new skills.
Our Sydney PowerPoint training courses are full-day sessions, covering everything you need to know at an introductory or intermediate level. Our trainer comes to you, so you can select a day that best suits your business and minimise unnecessary travel for your staff. Generally, classes start at 9:00 am and finish around 4:00 pm, but we can customise these times to suit your needs, offering half-day or shorter sessions if required.
During our Microsoft PowerPoint training, you’ll have the option to purchase a detailed training manual to support your learning (note, manuals are not included in our training fees). Following the completion of the Microsoft PowerPoint training course, you will also be provided with on-going support via email. We don’t place any time limits on this support, so you can access this service as needed, as long as your support queries remain related to the content covered in the training session.
Our Microsoft PowerPoint courses are delivered by qualified trainers who hold a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110) and have experience across the suite of Microsoft Office products. This means you’ll gain both the theoretical and practical knowledge you need to master PowerPoint. In most cases, your trainer will be Belinda Anderson, a professional trainer, with a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and over 19 years’ experience in the training industry.
